On Wednesday 31st July we took a group of Young Carers to the Museum in Stowmarket where we were able to educate ourselves on what life used to be like within East Anglia. We were amazed by the machinery and items which were collected over the years. The Young Carers took a particular interest in dressing up in the clothes similar to those that used to be worn and were astonished by the size of the Abbots Hall!
The staff at the museum were super friendly and welcoming. The children loved their souvenirs and enjoyed spending time making corn dolly’s in the activity’s room.
We’d like to say a special thank you to Alice and all the staff at The Museum of East Anglian Life, you made our visit extra special and memorable.
