It is important family carers get the information & support they need to maintain their own health and wellbeing alongside that of the person they care for.

The Information Hub is is your starting point with Suffolk Family Carers. It is staffed by friendly experienced staff who will have a conversation with you about your caring role and how it is affecting you.

We work alongside you to help you access the support you need to maintain your wellbeing alongside that of the person you care for.

Our Information Stand provides access to our Guides, Leaflets and Handouts.

 A Carer’s Assessment is your chance to let Suffolk County Council know how your caring role affects you physically and emotionally.

Our workshops provide practical help  alongside emotional support . Our sessions are designed to help sustain wellbeing whilst in a caring role. 

It’s really important to look after yourself as being a family carer can leave you with questions.

Our Substance Misuse provide specialised advice to those who are supporting someone with a substance misuse issue.

Our Advisers help family carers understand hospital processes and helping clarify and reinforce information provided by hospital staff.

Our Communities advisers hold regular drop in sessions at locations across the county to answer your questions.

Local family carer support groups are a great way to learn from people that may have already been in your situation

Dementia Connect is a personalised dementia support service for anyone with dementia their carers, families, friends or anyone concerned about their memory
