The sun was shining on us for our YAC BBQ and Games, held at our Claydon office on Saturday 9 July.
We had a delicious BBQ for lunch which was very kindly provided by the Stowmarket Lions! The 3 volunteers cooked hot dogs, burgers (both meat and veggie) for us – which was well needed after a game of Rounders on the green, Hide & Seek, Wink Murder and 40/40.
There was also a Connect 4 Championship (winner stays on) which got very competitive and was torture to watch as we had a rule that spectators weren’t allowed to say anything!!
“I enjoyed seeing everyone in person again and meeting new people and even when they were new they felt like I knew them for years. I liked how everyone was included and we could have fun and play games such as rounders.“
