On Wednesday 13th March, we had the pleasure of hosting Briony and Diana from the Cambridge based Wellcome Genome Scientific Research Campus at our YC Central Clubs, held at Tower Hall in Ipswich.
Briony and Diana came along to talk and share some science based activities with our young people, these included looking at different matter using microscopes, ink blots and even making slime!
Our young people enjoyed getting involved with all of the activities, and were heard saying – “We didn’t realise Science could be so much fun!”
A great evening had by all, and a massive thank you to Briony and Diana for sharing your science activities with our young people.
