Volunteer Social Media Assistant (Neurodevelopmental Differences Project)
Making sure parent carers are well informed of services, activities, information and events, you’ll be posting information and sourcing relevant content to share on the ND project social media pages.
What you’ll be doing:
- Post information provided by the ND team to ND Project social media pages
- Source relevant content from other organisations to share to ND Project social media pages
- Develop creative ways to share content via social media pages
- Share our social media content with other relevant organisations
Your own home or our offices in Claydon
At least 1 hour a week. This could be spread across the week at a time convenient for you.
ND project manager
This role suits you if you are: Someone who enjoys the positive impact social media can have in connecting people and spreading positive information. You’re a creative user of social media with experience using the main social media platforms as well as the internet and Microsoft Office. You’re a natural communicator with accurate written skills who pays attention to detail. You have the ability to work collaboratively but the motivation to work unsupervised and have a professional approach to online communication. An understanding of the lived experience of parent carers will be useful in this role.

- Be provided with the necessary induction, training, equipment and reasonable adjustments to do this role well and safely
- Be offered expenses to cover agreed travel costs between home and place of volunteering.
- Regular support and supervision will be given.
