Suffolk Family Carers took 40 children ice skating at Adventure Island in Lowestoft on 12th December. Some of the children had been ice skating before however, for some this was a completely new experience.
The children arrived and were excited to get on the ice with their friends, they grabbed their skates and headed out there was continuous laughter from the young carers throughout the session. One child said “I am having the best time” with another saying “Can we do this again as this is fun”. The children enjoyed an hour of ice skating and then we ended the trip with a yummy meal.
