Improving Family Carers Financial Wellbeing

Suffolk Family Carers is pleased to announce a special Financial Wellbeing workshop designed to support family carers across the region. Hosted online by The Money Charity, the session will take place on Wednesday 10 July from 1:00 to 2:30pm, and is being shown at their facilities in Claydon where they invite family carers who are able to, to join them and watch live and meet others who have similar caring responsibilities as themselves.

To foster connection and shared experience, family carers are warmly invited to attend the session in person at our facilities in Claydon, where they can join others in a supportive group setting. For those who prefer the comfort of home, the workshop will also be accessible online.

This interactive session will offer practical guidance on managing money, budgeting, and planning for the future – key areas that can often be a source of stress for those caring for someone.

Family carers often put the needs of others before their own, including their financial wellbeing,” said Hayley Hancock, Deputy CEO of Suffolk Family Carers. “This workshop is a chance for carers to take time for themselves, gain confidence in managing their finances, and connect with others who understand their journey.

Whether you’re new to caring or have been supporting someone for years, this workshop is open to all family carers in Suffolk.
