Rachel and Helen took their young carers to Adventure Island to go Ice skating as their Christmas treat for 2024.
We had 35 children attend which meant we celebrated Christmas in style by having lots of fun with our friends. Some of the children learnt new skills while others shared their skills. The children had lots of fun and laughter together while on the Ice. They at 1hr of ice skating fun followed by some food.
We had some great feedback from this event with one child saying “This is the best Christmas” another then saying “I have loved doing this”.
It was a great way to spend our last young carers group of 2024 and we look forward to seeing everyone again in the New Year.
