1: Find an old sock that you do not need anymore. The best sock to use would be a long knee sock as it gives you more space to become creative. The sock can be any colour or any pattern it will add to the character.
2: Place the sock on your hand and cup your hand in a C shape. Now your sock will start to look like a puppet. While the sock is on your hand you can use a pen to mark out where you want eyes, nose hair and any other accessories.
3: Take Sock of your hand and place it on the table.
4: Now you can start to put on accessories and decorate your sock puppet. You may want to add wool as hair or use googly eyes. You can use a variety of different resources from around your house to create your puppet.
5: Remember to name you puppet!
6: You could make a variety of different characters and then put on a puppet show for your family & friends
