In July, we were delighted to work with Alison Reid from Sharing Parenting, and June Fox at Lakenheath Primary School to arrange a networking event for local professionals from education, community and social care backgrounds.
At the event, we heard about EPIC Dads from Richard, Siobhan from Alumah talked in detail about various support programmes available for children from families where there has been domestic abuse, and we shared about the Young Carers service offer from Suffolk Family Carers.
It was a lovely morning to learn from each other, share concerns, successes, and cake, whilst also putting faces to names.
We hope to meet again and hear from other local organisations, so we can all expand our knowledge to help further support the families we work with.
