Information from the Office for National Statistics, recently highlighted by the BBC, shows that caring is the single biggest factor for 25-49 year-olds not being in work. Not only this, but women this age are nearly 10x more likely to be out of work due to caring responsibilities than men. What is the solution? Carer-friendly workplaces.
