In December, the Bury Abbey Rotary Club funded our yearly young carers pantomime trip to the Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds!
This year was Aladdin, and what a spectacular show it was. Our group of 24 made plenty of noise – enjoying singing along to the tunes, cheering and booing, as well as laughing at the jokes throughout.
The Theatre also had a surprise in store for us! Not only did we get a shout out during the performance, as well as selection boxes as gifts and a crown to wear, but they also got to meet the cast after the show! The children loved asking so many questions about their performance and being their characters.
