In October half term we introduced more young carers to the World of Warhammer. Thanks again to Elle from Ipswich Museum for letting us be based in the Learning room of the Ipswich Art Gallery.
As this was a longer session we had more time to explore the lore of Warhammer, buy some resources from the local Warhammer shop, and battle.
The main thing the group took part in, was they were asked to design a Space Marines chapter for the club. The group spilt into 3 separate sections each thinking of a paint scheme, back story, fighting style and so on.
As you may have guessed there needed to be some compromise between the groups, but out of it we have ideas for both a new Space Marine Chapter and also a new Chaos Marine Chapter. Once things have been finalised we will introduce the new chapters to the world, with their own history, paint scheme and in time painted units. All created by the young carers.
