Once again the Ipswich Rotarians very kindly funded a whole days activity at Hallow Trees Scout Centre, including a BBQ for lunch, for our 9-12yr young carers.
Fun was had, confidence boosted and new friends made, as children joined in with Archery, Climbing Wall, Crate stacking, Abseiling, Rifle Shooting and Go Karting. Over 40 young carers attended and were well behaved during the day.
We were blessed with warm weather and all went home exhausted, especially the staff!
A HUGE thank you to all the Rotarians who gave up their Saturday and for all their hard work in preparing for the activity day.
