Today we had a visit from two of Scrutton Bland’s partners, who came to see how we provide support to young carers around Suffolk. Whilst visiting us they presented Kirsten, our CEO, with a wonderful donation of £5000 for our young people’s service.
Kirsten says, “Thank you for visiting Suffolk Family Carers today and for the wonderful donation of £5000 to our young carers service. Donations such as these enable us to provide extra, much needed support for our beneficiaries. Your donation will be used to enable us to run two young carer groups in Ipswich, supporting 5-8 year old and 9-12 year olds. These groups provide the chance for young carers to build friendships with others who understand and to let off steam and enjoy a bit of care-free time. Support from organisations like Scrutton Bland make a massive difference to charities, so thank you for thinking of Suffolk Family Carers.”
