Thanks to Wells Hall primary in Sudbury, we had a great day in the February half term doing Forest School type activities.
For several young carers it was their first activity with us – parents commented that it was great to have something local they can access. The children were keen to get involved with the scavenger hunt, drilling and designing wooden disks, fire making with flint and steels and toasting marshmallows. Free play with the mud kitchen and den building was also included. And decorating gingerbread men was the icing on the cake (or biscuit !!)
Asking for marks out of ten for the day, shouts of ‘a hundred’, ‘a million’ were the replies!
I think they had fun!
