Abbeycroft Leisure and Explore Outdoor are now taking bookings for their February Half Term holiday programmes which offers lots of exciting FREE events and activities open to children and families entitled to Free School Meals!
These are provided in partnership with West Suffolk and Babergh and Mid Suffolk Council and a range of funding partners
The programmes run from Monday 13th to Friday 17th February* and they are encouraging families to book onto as many of these events as possible! Spaces are extremely limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Please see the details below on how too book. *Location dependant.
E-Vouchers
- THERE ARE NO VOUCHERS REQUIRED FOR THIS HOLIDAY – parents must select the correct criteria when booking.
These sessions are primarily for children entitled to Free School Meals – but the following can also accept
- Eligible for free school meals – Pupil Premium (Not KS1 universal free school meals)
- Children with SEND (EHCP/BSP/Activities Unlimited Members)
- Young carers
- Children in care
- Foster children
- Children at risk of exploitation
- Children in financial hardship
- Ukrainian or other Refugees
Family Park Cooking Days (Children aged 5-16 years) A full day out for the family in a local green space or country park
Outdoor cooking master class
Every family that attend takes home an ingredients box containing all the ingredients for 5 days’ worth of meals for the family

Adventure Days (Children must be aged between 8-12 years) – A full day of adventure

SEND support – On these days an extra instructor will be provide increasing the ratio from 1:10 to 1:5 to provide a little extra support to those that need it.
Children will still be expected to be independent and manage their own behaviour and interactions with other children as set out in our behavioural policy.

Family & Junior Free Swimming and Lunch.
Abbeycroft Leisure is offering free swimming and lunch over the Christmas half term to all eligible children from 5-16 years old. Spaces will be offered from Saturday 17th December – Thursday 23rd December 2022. *Subject dates apply.
Tickets are available as Junior ONLY, 1xParent & 1xChild (2 individual spaces), or as a Family Ticket – 2x adult:2xchildren/ 1xadult: 3x children. (4 individual spaces).
