East Bergholt ran their first but certainly not the last Christmas drop in for their young carers hosted by Mrs Johnson and supported by Millie, Young Carer Ambassador.
Ipswich Academy ran a festive drop in for young carers aside from their existing drop in which usually runs every other Monday for students
Farlingaye ran their end of term treat to students building gingerbread houses lead by Miss Mills and have the pleasure of a young carers drop in usually every other Thursday in school
Westley Middle ran their last Christmas drop in with Katy at the school as she is due to leave her role as young carers lead next year! Best of luck Katy you will be missed!
Thomas Gainsborough ran their festive buffet lunch with the support of Miss Betts, Miss Fox and Mrs O’Beirne and enjoyed a game of Scattegories, their favourite game to play at the moment!
Hadleigh High hosted their last Christmas with Mrs Perry who leaves her role as young carers lead in the new year, we wish you all the best in your next chapter!
St. Benedicts Catholic school enjoyed their end of term treat by decorating cake and biscuits lead by Mrs Bourne and supported by two teachers, some definite artists at the school!

This list is not an exhaustive list of the hard work schools across the county are contributing towards the support of our young carers, this is merely a round up by our adviser Sheree who is allocated to these schools. Communication such as emails, phone calls are just as valuable in ensuring the young people are continuously well supported in their caring role.
