We have been using the Chocs for Champs selection boxes to spread the cheer to schools during our drop ins take a look at what a few of them had to say!
- ‘’Thank-you so much I never get treats like this only when we can afford it’’
- ‘’It’s nice to still be thought about, please tell Blake I said thank-you’’
- One child at local primary school was smiling and said ‘‘I’ve never had a selection box before’’
- Another child who usually appears down, was smiling during the session which surprised the YC lead and said the young person had fun and gave the young carer lead and adviser a big hug! The young carer Lead says he never smiles!
- At another local primary school, one girl in receipt of a selection box said ‘‘this is the best day ever!’’
- At another local primary school one boy got the giggles and laughed a lot. The young carer lead said she has never heard him laugh like this- he is having a hard time at home and getting a selection box has made his day.
