On Tuesday 9th April, we took 12 of our young carers over to Halifax Community Gardens.
Thank you to Danny and Trevor for hosting us. What a knowledgeable pair they are, telling us all about the different plants and wildlife. The children were able to do various activities including planting, bug hunting, pond dipping and den building. They also made bread, cooking it over a fire pit and eating it in the fresh air. They all thoroughly enjoyed themselves and would love to return in the future.
