Welcome to Your Space for Early Years

This is our online space for the early years with a caring role. It includes blogs, tips and information.

With funding from The Big Lottery Community Fund we have been able to commence a three year project to support young carers from the age of three. The project, launched April 2023 allows us to work with two early Years settings in Ipswich and one in Lowestoft.

We work with the young carer and their family to build on existing strengths which will encourage the family to reduce the impact of the caring role on their child. Together we will look to wider family support and opportunities within chosen community to provide the longer term support the family want and need. “It takes a village to raise a child”

We welcome families to activities they can attend together, led by members of our team. The child friendly sessions encourage families to relax and simply enjoy being together.

The project also enables us to accept countywide registrations for Young Carers from the age of 4 that are in education. This needs led offer includes but is not limited to:

  • Support for your child in their education setting
  • Short term whole family support
  • Activities you can attend as a family
