One evening, in mist covered Stowmarket, a small group of young people gathered together and decided to take the music world by storm.
After a few sessions, some band members leaving, illness and the one thing that stops everything – Christmas, I can now finally present to you CANADA with their debut single ‘Shoot & Miss’.
Facilitated by Adam, co-founder of Band Academy and delivered at the Mix in Stowmarket, this group of young carers, with a variety of musical experience, came together and wrote, sung & recorded this song.
They collaborated with the words, theme and rhythm of ‘Shoot & Miss’. The song is a love story at its core with the underlying battle of choosing each other or your career.
The group grew in confidence and expanded their musical knowledge and experience. To watch this group over the sessions, you could see them becoming more relaxed, making real friendships and enjoying the process. Well done all the members of CANADA, don’t forget where it all started when you become big and famous!!!!
