Thanking our Volunteers!

You may have seen on our social media this week some posts asking ‘could you volunteer?’ Well, could you?

A lot of people think volunteering takes up so much of your spare time and lest face it, in life nowadays we don’t get much of that. Especially if you’re a carer yourself. But our volunteering roles don’t have to take up lots of your time. If it wasn’t for volunteers some of our services wouldn’t be able to run in the way they do and we wouldn’t be able to get help to family carers across Suffolk.

As part of Suffolk Action Week this year we wanted to inspire other people to become volunteers and to thank our volunteers who help us continue much needed support to family carers.

It would be great to recruit more volunteers as they play such a big part in the running of services across our organisation. If you’d be interested, please give us a call on 01473 835477 or email volunteer@suffolkfamilycarers.org

Why volunteer with Suffolk Family Carers ?

Volunteering enables you to use your existing skills and experience. It can also help you to gain new skills, offer new challenges and provide a real sense of achievement, as well as an opportunity to make new friends.

Our dedicated and talented volunteers support us in all parts of our organisation. This helps us to support family carers across Suffolk. We hold all staff and volunteers in high regard, listen and enable them to flourish and see their good ideas through to fruition.

We will provide any training relevant to your role, cover your out-of-pocket expenses and provide support while you are volunteering with us.

Leaving so soon?

We hope you found what you were looking for, however,
if you didn’t we’d like to still offer you some support.
Please let us know how we can help.
