November is considered a time of reflection and remembrance for many, however many veteran, ex-service, serving and reservist personnel and their families will share that they ‘remember’ every day. At Suffolk Family Carers as part of our support of the Armed Forces Covenant, we are able to offer our ‘Serving Suffolk Families- past and present’ service- for anyone that is or has served in the UK Armed Forces or their family and has a caring role.
We are absolutely delighted that this November, the Veterans Foundation have chosen to grant us funds for a further year. This funding enables us to work with Veterans in caring roles and allows us to be able to offer our umbrella service. The project gathers momentum daily and we are making connections across the Country, and working closely alongside the specialist services and other military charities to provide much needed support.
The coffee mornings held for family carers are growing in popularity and we invite anyone living in Suffolk who is a carer and part of the Armed Forces Community to get in touch.
Thank you so much to Veterans Foundation and its supporters for making this happen!
