TGA’s forthcoming Safe Scooter Driving and Charity Awareness Day will provide the opportunity for existing and prospective mobility scooter users, to learn the latest techniques for competent driving in a safe and welcoming atmosphere. All visitors will be able to experience the TGA test track which will compromise of obstacles typically found when travelling on a scooter. Helpful and trained TGA advisors will be on hand to support and offer guidance on manoeuvres such as crossing the road. This free programme is not a driving test or formal training, it is a relaxed and informal awareness day that builds confidence and a better understanding of individual capabilities.
Event attendees can bring their own scooter or select one from the latest TGA range. The event will provide:

- Free health check for all mobility scooters
- Free safe driving certificate
- Free test drives of our latest award-winning scooters
New ‘Carers Hub’
This brings together a diverse range of charities that offer support to people with restricted mobility or those who care for others. Visitors will be able to source a variety of information from:

Advisors from Autochair, the car boot scooter hoist specialist, will also be available.
