YCAD 2019 focused on the mental health needs of young people with caring roles and campaigned for professionals and peers to #CareForMeToo. In response to the campaign Suffolk Family Carers developed a PSHE lesson and supporting resources to share knowledge and enable discussions about mental health. X schools took up our offer to deliver the session which meant we engaged Y pupils in conversations about mental health.
We are really please to share our primary school resource booklet with you to work through at home. 10 schools took up the offer and we engaged 768 pupils in conversations about Mental Health.
