Have you or the person you care for ever served in the UK Armed Forces? Even for one day?
Did you know that Suffolk Family Carers has received funding to deliver specific information and support sessions for those from the UK Armed Forces community?
So that means if you, or the person you care for, are currently serving, has served, is a reservist, is ex- service or a veteran including UK national service these workshops are for you. If you are supporting staff e.g. ‘civilian’ to UK Armed Forces, you are also welcome to join the sessions.
The sessions- ‘Armed Forces Family Carers Connected’ will not only give you the opportunity to meet other family carers from the Armed Forces community but they will provide information and guidance on support available and how this can be accessed. Some of this is only accessible by the Armed Forces community which is why we are offering these very specific sessions.
We are hugely appreciative to our colleagues at RAF Honington, Wattisham Flying Station and MOD Rock Barracks for hosting us at these sessions.

Our next sessions start at Wattisham Flying Station on 4th November and then we travel over to Rock Barracks, Woodbridge in spring 2025. Our sessions at RAF Honington have just finished and were very well received with some lovely feedback!
