Across the county we held three Gruffalo activity days which have been located in Claydon and Bury St Edmunds. With over 50 young carers attending it was a successful and a fun day had by all. The sessions were based around the story of the Gruffalo and included Cooking, Arts and Crafts and a Gruffalo Hunt.
The children came together to have fun creating their very own character spoons and Gruffalo creatures. The children enjoyed a picnic lunch together which include their Gruffalo feet cookies, before going to find all of Gruffalos friends in the scavenger hunt. The day finished with a visit from the Gruffalo who gave each of the young carers a present which was a super way to end a fantastic day.
