Santa and his elves were not the only ones busy this Christmas!
Much frivolity for our primary aged children –
In Ipswich Mr Bean visited the Ipswich party with games, dancing, magic and balloons, and Father Christmas visited with presents.
At the Stowupland club, we had guests Elizabeth and Kevin (from the Chernobyl charity and Stowmarket Lions) who sorted games and arranged for Father Christmas to visit with presents
Parties continued at the Bury club with DJ Jay disco providing music, games, fake snow and a special visit from Father Christmas, bearing gifts for all!
In Lowestoft, there was an exciting trip to Africa Alive Wildlife park where the children got up close to the animals and fed the giraffes!
In addition to the club parties, we had –
Christmas crafts in Sudbury at Number 72,
Felixstowe family session enjoyed Christmas activities, making Christmas decorations and visiting horses at Newmarket Race Horse museum where we got a sneaky peak of some of King Charles paintings!
A select few were taken on the Santa train – the steam train took us to the grotto!
And don’t forget Blakes Chos for Champs and the Newmarket chocolate elf – hundreds of selection boxes delivered to young carers in schools all over Suffolk!
For any children that were involved in any of the above, we would welcome your comments about the activity – please email hello@suffolkfamilycarers.org for the attention of Young Peoples service
Happy New Year everyone!!
