You may have seen the recent publicity that the UK Government wants to have the biggest ever conversation about the future of the NHS. Although this initial publicity has reduced, here at Suffolk Family Carers we believe it is vital that the views of unpaid family carers are represented in this conversation.
It doesn’t matter if you have a lot or a little to say your views, experiences and ideas will shape a new 10 Year Health Plan for England. We MUST ensure this accommodates the needs of the people who undertake a caring role. Any future version of the NHS cannot be as dependent on unpaid family carers as the current version.
