Carers Count Week #6

263 miles were achieved this week – well done everyone!

What great timing! In Wales for St Davids Day!

We started in Snowdonia National park and visited the amazing Swallow Falls. Then over the Menai Straights to beautiful Angelsey, heading to Holyhead.

From the coast we headed to the town of Liverpool via the cliffs of Great Ormes Head – spectacular!

During this pandemic we have been ‘Getting By With a Little Help of Our Friends’ so whilst in Liverpool we took ‘A Ticket To Ride’ on the bus, heading down ‘Penny Lane’ to Anfield Stadium to watch a football match. ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ Liverpool!

Liverpool won! So after celebrating ‘Twist and Shout’ing, ‘I Feel Fine

I Wanna Hold Your Hand’ but alas we need to wait several more weeks until we can ‘Come Together

We carried on to Blackpool for a little retreat. Enjoying the sound of the waves on the beach and viewing the illuminations at night!

This week we will be heading to the Lake District…
