We had a fantastic evening at the Theatre Royal, Bury St. Edmunds on Tuesday 30th November 2021, attending the Cinderella Pantomime which was kindly donated by the generous Rotarians at the Bury Abbey Rotary Club.
Thank-you all so much for having him come along, he had an awesome time. I know he finds it hard at first but tonight he saw a face he knew, so that encouraged him to want to come again, thank-you again so, so much
A Parent
We got to meet the cast and they said young carers as a shout out! My favourite were the ugly step sisters they were really funny!
A young carer after seeing them in school the following day
After seeing my friend on stage doing this, I feel like I could do the same
A young carer
With thanks to Emma Suckling who made the young carers and staff feel well-looked after on the evening, and whom arranged for us to meet the cast at the end.
And to Alan Brown and his colleagues at the Rotary Club who are consistently doing all they can to support young people by providing them with much-loved activities and time away from their caring roles.
It was a joy to see the young carers faces and we are so grateful that we have some memorable pictures to capture their smiles on the evening. Thank-you to all who made this evening possible.
