Hey everyone, its Keiron. It’s been a while since I last updated you and a lot has changed.
We ran our last club (for the time being) a few weeks ago, managed to get that in just before lockdown! We will back, and I suppose all this time working from home means I have time to get better at painting.
In the meantime I need help? For those that are part of the club, or in the future would like to be there is homework. Get painting, loads of online guides to help, read the rules – again these are available online and plan your army!
For everyone, how about coming up with some ideas for painting the armies.
It’s simple, with this blog are 2 PDF’s Stormcaster and Space Marine which can be printed, coloured in, photographed and returned to us via hello@suffolkfamilycarers.org subject ‘Young carers- Warhammer. We will then put a selection on here and our social media pages and the best one voted by you lot I will try to paint.

Bolters at the Ready- The Future.
We plan to continue to use the Ipswich Museum when possible as the venue. The club is yours as always and you can come along to paint, read, battle etc. We will be introducing a new battle system called ‘Kill Teams’ for Warhammer 40K, which use small teams (which means less painting). If you are not currently involved but would like to be, please get in touch with us for more details.
I have wild plans as normal for the club and would be happy to listen to your thoughts and ideas.
We were in the middle of a competition, which will continue – just a little differently, and most likely will have to run until at least October Half term to ensure everyone gets a fair chance.
Lastly, we did have an idea about a name, but didn’t have a conclusive one, so for the time being we are going to call the club ‘Bolters at the Ready’ (The title doesn’t mean it will just be 40K, as we will be doing Age of Sigmar as well).
