Our 9-12 yrs in the West took the train from Bury to Stowmarket to have a great day at The Mix for their band experience.

Band Academy – Much fun and creativity was had for groups of young carers over two days, learning about all the aspects of being in a band, from song writing, performing, band merchandise, designing a CD cover and photo shoots. At the end parents and grandparents were invited to come in and watch their children perform. Adam and Jake, experienced band performers, worked with the children with much enthusiasm and passion, taking a group of nervous and unconfident young people and turning them into performing stars! Every parent / grandparent felt the children had thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the experience had increased their self confidence. Just shows, you never know what you can achieve until you try!
