A Trip on the train to Norwich

Our young carers from Lowestoft had an exciting day out, we travelled on the train from Lowestoft to Norwich. For two of our young carers this was their first trip on a train. We learnt good skills about looking after our ticket and using the ticket barriers.

Once in Norwich we headed to Gravity, a trampoline park. The young carers got an hour to bounce, there was so much to do, from trampoline leaps, inflatable obstacle course, total wipe-out and an air bag to jump onto. The young carers had lots of fun jumping, some learnt how to front flip, and some enjoyed playing hide and seek. Overall they had a great time and some enjoyed a slushy or ice cream to help them cool down.

After all the bouncing we went for a little walk along the river before heading to Pizza Hut for some lunch. We enjoyed the Pizza buffet, unlimited drinks, salad bar and the famous ice-cream factory. Then returned to Lowestoft on the train. This was a lovely day out with the young carers all enjoying it one noted that ‘it was fun.’
