What a beautiful day to go crabbing!
Friday 19th September, a group of our young carers met with Kev and Andy from The Stowmarket Lions at Suffolk Family Carers reception in Claydon, and drove us all over to Southwold in their minibus, where we crabbed for the morning! So many crabs were caught, I lost count after 43…
Kev and Andy bought us all fish and chips, which was all washed down with a can of pop. We then strolled down onto the beach for a splash in the sea, a game of football and some free time to play and relax.
After the excitement of the beach, we had a quick water and ice cream break, jumped back on the minibus and headed back to Claydon to meet up with our young carer’s parents, a great day had by all!
