In August, we took a group of young carers to the Anglo Saxon Village at West Stow. We started with a tour of the reconstructed village, and learnt about the timeline of the Anglo-Saxons. The young carers imagined what it was like to live in these buildings: cooking over fires, foraging for food and sleeping on straw beds!
We spent time in the museum, and some of our young carers embraced the Anglo-Saxon fashion trends!
We finished our day with a walk around the Beowulf & Grendel Trail, and of course we made time for a stop at the playground.
Thank you all for coming along, and being so inquisitive!
