YAC Christmas Party at Claydon!

On 6th December we got together at Claydon for the Ipswich area Christmas do. There was festive music, fun games and challenges, lovely food and most importantly lots of chat!

Here’s what some of the YACs had to say about it!

The Claydon Party was amazing. At first my confidence wasn’t great but everyone was very welcoming, I didn’t want the party to end! We all enjoyed listening to the music and singing it out loud together! My favourite bit would have to be when we got into teams and went hunting for the different clues as we all laughed and enjoyed it. I am grateful for YAC for doing these kinds of activities as its making us meet lots of new people and building my confidence up. I can’t wait for more YAC activities!

At the Christmas party we played pass the parcel, an adventure hunt to find parts to create a snowman and some of us played spoons. I really liked being able to see the people who are a carer like me because there’s not that many people to talk to who really understands what I’m going through, and having some who are carers like me have some understanding on what I’m going through.

The party was the best thing ever! Seeing people online was okay but in person really lifted my spirits.

Leaving so soon?
