In conjunction with South Street Studio and WIKID Music, 30 young carers spent the day at the studio and music venue. They experienced Drumming Workshops, learnt about Radio broadcasts, used ipads and other tech to make music and also got to play with some retro gaming consoles.

The young people said ‘it was great because they got out for the whole day’, ‘tried new and expensive things’, and ‘made friends and had fun’.
In November/December we are now running 3 additional sessions for those that want to take their new skills further with a live performance in front of invited friends and families a few weeks before Christmas. Over 70% of the young who took part want to come back.
