Salary: £21,693 pro rata per annum (£16,416 – £18,761 for 28-32 hours per week)

Suffolk Family Carers is a respected charity that is passionate about delivering services to meet the needs of family carers of all ages. We provide a range of services to support adult, young adult and young carers across Suffolk.

An exciting opportunity has arisen as a Substance Misuse Family Carer Facilitator and Support Worker.

You will have excellent people skills as well as experience of developing and facilitating substance misuse training courses. We are looking for someone who is able to demonstrate understanding and empathy across all ages to give support, sign-posting and guidance to focus on realistic goals and recovery.

Experience of working in a charity or not-for-profit organisation, whilst not essential, would be an advantage. This position would suit an organised, self-motivated and confident individual, with excellent communication and relationship building skills.

There is flexibility around working hours as well as an attractive pension scheme. Suffolk Family Carers is located on a rural business park, easily accessible from the A14 and 4 miles from Ipswich.
